Cocoon admin accounts are set up using your work email address. To access Cocoon as a user looking to plan a leave, you will need to login using a personal email address.
If you are already logged into Cocoon and you are immediately brought to a Welcome back screen that advises ‘Here’s a list of tasks for the Company Name team to take a look at’, this means that you are logged in under an admin account (see image below).
To switch from an admin account to a user account, click your name at the top right corner of your Cocoon homepage, and select ‘Switch to employee view’ If you have already created a user account, you can then login here using the login credentials you created with your personal email account.
If you have not yet created a user account, visit the unique Cocoon login page for your company. This is the website address you provided to your employees to sign up with Cocoon and is typically app.cocoon.com/companyname (all lowercase).
You can then select ‘Get started’ which will ask you to verify both your work email and personal emails.
Once you hit ‘create account’ you will receive an email to both your work and personal email addresses to verify your account. Once you have verified both emails you will be able to login using the personal email address and password you provided.
If you are already logged into your employee dashboard view and you are looking to switch back over to your admin dashboard. You can click on your name in the upper right corner of your screen. Then click on ‘Switch to Admin view’. This will allow you to toggle back and forth between your different dashboard views.
