In most cases, you can send your employees to your Cocoon website directly to plan their leave. In the event that you’d like to make a direct introduction, feel free to use the following template.

Hi [Employee’s Name],
I wanted to make an introduction to the Cocoon concierge team. [Company] recently partnered with Cocoon who helps facilitate leaves for [Company]. Cocoon is here to help support you as much as possible while you are on your parental leave!
You can use Cocoon as your point of contact for any questions throughout your leave. They will also work closely with you to file claims with insurance and the state to see if you qualify for benefits while on leave.

Once your leave is submitted in Cocoon, they will begin helping you with the following:
Gathering your leave info: Throughout the submission flow, Cocoon will collect information from you regarding your leave (dates, medical provider information, as well as personal information to help them file the claims for you).
Submitting your claims: Cocoon will pre-fill & outline the submission process for any applicable claims.
Follow Ups: There may be instances where the Cocoon team reaches out because they need your assistance unblocking a part of your claim. They may also need to follow up with you for additional information requested or required by insurance or the state
