What employees see after planning a leave

Everything employees see in Cocoon after planning their leave.

Home tab

When employees log into their account, they’ll be taken to the homepage of their dashboard. From this tab, they can view their leave plan, make any necessary edits, and view the required next steps for their claims (if applicable).

Clicking “edit plan” will take employees back to the leave planning tool where they can update dates, delivery method, and bonding time.

Benefits tab

Employees will see a title, quick description, and a ‘Learn More’ button that takes them to the link provided during implementation. We understand benefits may change throughout the year, so please note that you can also update benefits from your admin account as well! Read more about the process here.

Policies tab

When employees look at the Policies tab, Cocoon is trying to answer the most important questions to employees: how much time they get, how much pay they get, and what applies to them.

Claims Task List

The Claims Task List becomes extremely important once a leave is submitted.

Employees will be directed here to upload any of the following, depending on their leave type: child information or medical certification.

Employees can click on each task to upload the requested information.

For example, if an employee is completing the task to confirm the arrival of their child, they will click on that task, and the 'provide details' button will guide them through the process, asking them to upload proof of child documents.

Contacting the Cocoon Support team

Throughout their entire dashboard, employees will see a ‘Contact Us’ button that surfaces the Support team contact information.
