If your employer currently uses SSO for sign-in, please note that we haven’t launched SSO for employees yet. You’ll need to use your work email to link to your employer and your personal email to create your Cocoon account. Going forward, you’ll use your personal email to sign in.
Stay tuned! We’ll be launching SSO for employees in early 2025, and your employer will notify you if this is enabled for your company.
At Cocoon, an account won’t automatically be created for you once your employer partners with us. Here are the steps to follow to create your account:
Step 1:
Your employer will provide you with a link to create your Cocoon account. It will look like this: app.cocoon.com/[youremployerslug].
Step 2:
This link will take you to your employer's dashboard to create your account. Select "Get started."
Step 3:
Once "Get started" is selected, you’ll be asked to provide your work email, first name, and last name. This is what we’ll use to link you to your employer. You’ll receive an email to your work email to confirm it.
If you're unable to confirm your work email, there will be a button to send a request for your HR team to confirm it on their end, or you can reach out to our Cocoon support team at [email protected] to manually confirm it.
Step 4:
After confirming your work email, you'll be asked to enter your personal email and create a password. An email will be sent to your personal email to confirm it. Once confirmed, hit "Create account" and you'll be ready to start designing your leave.
Now that your account is created, you’ll use your personal email going forward to sign in.
Common Questions:
What if I leave my company or get terminated? Will I still have access to my Cocoon account?
Since you're using your personal email, you’ll always be able to log in to view your leave plan history. Once we're notified of your work end date, you'll receive a handoff email to close things out, so you can take care of anything you might need outside of Cocoon.
I created my Cocoon account, and I see the option to sign in with Google. Can I do that instead?
It’s best to use the email and password you created to sign in to Cocoon.
